Commission and Member States set out measures on first batch of Article 13 claims

The European Commission last week set out measures to guide the decision-making process on the first batch of EFSA’s article 13 claims opinions. This follows a number of concerns voiced by stakeholders over the first batch of article 13 opinions by the European Food Safety Authority (EFSA) published in October, under the Nutrition and Health Claims Regulation.
