Unfavourable opinion for Article 13.5 health claim: Yestimun® and immune responses

EFSA, yesterday, has published yet another unfavourable opinion for an Article 13.5 Health claim, pursuant to the EU's Claims Regulation, this time relating to the substance Yestimun® (yeast beta-glucans) and the claimed effect for “reducing the risk for common cold infections by decreasing the susceptibility for common cold infections during the cold season by strengthening the body’s natural defences and improving the body’s immune defence against common cold viral infections during the cold season”.
