EFSA begins its re-evaluation of food additives

EFSA has today launched its re-evaluation process for all food additives permitted before 20 January 2009, in accordance with the EU's Regulation on food additives. It calls upon stakeholders to submit relevant data (published and unpublished) for selected food additives it has identified.
