EFSA publishes opinion on novel food ingredient 'Cetyl Myristoleate Complex'

EFSA has today published its opinion on the safety of the novel food ingredient 'Cetyl Myristoleate Complex' (CMC). CMC is intended to be used as a food supplement and targets subjects with osteoarthritis. EFSA has concluded that the safety of CMC cannot not been established.
